Bozenka's workshop was so totally fabulous.

while I never had an "epiphany" moment like I did in Cassandra's workshop with the layering of shimmies I still think I learned a lot. If I hadn't had my confidence boosted by the second day of the Cassandra workshop - I'm not sure I would have went.

I made notes. *wow* I think most of the stuff I will have to practice in front of a mirror to actually get. Plus I need to work on achieving some skill with rythum (sp?). I just can't seem to get on beat with the drum... some of that might come with knowing a particular piece of music.

I don't have time to write a full review but... wow. it was wonderful. I am so very glad that I went.

I'm sorry that I didn't stay for the performance but I had to choose one. I couldn't do another weekend away so soon,

I am now trying to write the short film review paper that is due tomorrow.

i'm jealous!

but i'm glad you got in. was it easier than cassandra's workshop?

a good rhythm cd: solace, rhythm of the dance. it has liner notes for drums and zills. also fat chance belly dance tribal drums is good too.

you should be - it was a m a z i n g.

easier - not exactly... I have the same problems with choreography that I usually do but didn't feel as lost as I did the previous workshop because I wasn't causing people to trip over me.

I posted my review in my journal - any editting changes you'd suggest before I post it to the bellydance community?
