*weeps*

well Watson managed to get himself elected.

I may have to move.  I cannot believe that my neighbours are such idiots as to re-elect this *blank*  If I could think of something bad enough to call Watson I would put it in here.

Obviously I live in a place that is too conservative & too Catholic? to ignore the fact that Watson has consistently failed to deliver  - jobs? Watson?  while you're out there not doing anything for our area - watching the automakers shut down plants - just what have you been doing besides  making babies?  (oh right your wife does most of that.)

Harper got a minority.  I suppose it was the best that we could hope for - he gained a few seats, too many in my opinion.  If only the Liberals had put forward a candidate that showed even a flicker of ability.  *sighs*  I'm not usually a big fan of the Liberals but... Anyone But Conservative.

Results?
Conservatives hold 143 ridings, up from 127 in 2006,
Liberals were elected in 76, a drop of 19 seats from the party's standing at dissolution.

Bloc Québécois candidates were leading or elected in 50 ridings,
while NDP candidates were ahead or holding 37 seats, a gain of seven seats over the last election.
Two Independents also held on to their seats.
