dancingleaf | small screen, new life

my sister has revamped my old dead computer and given it a new life.

I am currently sitting in my rather cold basement with a hot cup of tea.

It rejected Windows- for some strange reason but is running on Obuntu ... but as long as it allows me to surf the web while hubby is using our other computer I can't complain.

I can access the web (which means Gmail) and still use many of my usual programs (audacity - for music editting)
& my own website which means that I can get work done also.

I'm taking my mother to a doctor's appointment today. So I'll be out of here shortly and gone for the day. Mostly I just wanted to see if it worked.
