I am going to be on TV.
that's right!

I'm going to be on TV.
Kathy my BD teacher sent out an email, Monday night, and asked all her students to help her fill up a room of belly dancers to help promote the belly dance hafla she is hosting in a few weeks. And also to promote belly dance as a healthy and fun form of fitness.
we're going to be on local TV as background while Kathy talks about out upcoming event.

Looks like London/Windsor got dropped from the performance schedule. And although they will still be appearing in Detroit... The Magic Bag is where we saw them last time... and I feel bad for those poor dancers.
I remember reading somewhere that one of their complaints was performing in places that had no dressing rooms or dressing rooms full of sharp pointing things perfect for snagging costumes. Judging from the 'paying clientele area' that we were in and the fact that DH saw two of them out in the parking lot before hand, with a small hand mirror ballanced on a telephone pole, putting their make up on before the show... I can't imagine how bad the backstage/dressing rooms must be.
I'm bummed that they won't be here or in London. But I'm still going to go to Detroit for that show.
