do you pay for kisses?

We have a silly game we play

One person says

Can I have a kiss? I'll pay you a quarter?

Sometimes we even pay up. Sometimes we argue jokingly about the value of the kiss - that was a 10c kiss or my kisses are worth $1.00 you cheapskate!

Similarly.  I heard/read this ridiculous study once that says a person needs EIGHT hugs per day to stave off depression.

If you want a hug you proclaim - I am hug deficient!  I haven't had my eight hugs. Cue hug from partner.

There's a lot of hug deficiency around here these days.  Actually the problem is more that we are needing more than eight to deal with the emotional stresses.  but hey - if you find this helpful... more power to you.

And hugs.  Have one from me.  *hug*

now you only need seven more. today.

I read it was like 19 hugs a day, but maybe that was to really thrive (not just ward off depression). But, hey, anyway, yeah-- thanks for the hug! :)

::hugs back::

There's one more. :)

I love hugs. For someone who used to be "Ewww" at it when I was a kid, I'm kind of hug-deficient these days.

*POUNCES ON YOU AND HUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGLESES!* Big hugs your way!
