I'm a professional shopper
I took my mother out shopping for a new living room set today.
After much to-do...she picked one out (in the second store)* selected the fabrics for it and went home to see if my dad wanted to look at it. He decided no - he didn't want to go to the store - so she phoned and ordered it!
Their current set is 26 years old!
Here's hoping she likes the next one that much & it lasts!
Oddly enough... there didn't seem to be much staff working in any of the stores. We actually had to have a salesperson paged in the second store to assist us.
*We also stopped in a third store but they didn't have anything much.
