hotflashes?

how do I know if I'm having hot flashes or if it's just a wonky air conditioner?

Usually if it feels like it's more upper body than anywhere else: face, neck, chest. And if they happen despite air conditioning. Esp if they wake you up at night. They're very common after hysterectomy, unless your dr puts you on HRT.

I think it's the air conditioner.

I was alternating hot & cold last night. Didn't help that someone's hot breath was in my face. (Doggies don't like thunderstorms)

I think it was just the A/C last night (combined with one dog trying to wake me up and the other dog pacing the room - they don't like thunderstorms)

I just wondered if it could be hot flashes or not.
I still have my ovaries - so no HRT or at least not yet.
