external drives are great, but they aren't great long-term storage. I know this when a bad write corrupted my drive, and I fudged up the recovery software.

I'm torn between a new TV and an SLR. Modern TV's look funny. I'm cheap and crazy.

C's pick. I don't think she knew what it was about, but there's the Colin Firth factor. She really likes Colin Firth and I like to be around when she really likes Colin Firth. :) And she thought I liked Julianne Moore. I'm not big in her, though. She's good in this, though.

I have to watch that Top BellyDancer. It's in my todo list.

I can't believe TV's have come down in price so much over the years.... when you think what you paid for your last TV and what that amount will buy you now? bpggling. Yeah I still have the old style TV's here. hard to justify replacing with the flat panels when the old ones still work.

SLR? self loading rifle? are you going all 'merican on me?

I have a LOT of music stored. and I freak out at the thought of losing it. Everything else ...pfft. I suppose I could just back up the music once a month or so.

I like taking photos. My camera died a few years back. I've always wanted an SLR. What self respecting stalker doesn't have a camera???

I have a ridiculous camera. Huge, expensive and hopelessly out of date but...it still takes pretty decent pics - although I have almost no clue how to use all the features.

Bought it in a hurry before one of our vacations - 2002? 2003? 2004?... Technology has improved so much since then... I keep thinking I should replace it but...then what? and it still takes good photos.
