fixed it but d@mn.

this thing seems to be giving more and more trouble lately.

two years old.

I certainly can't afford to replace it and I just went out and bought a rockin' sound system to go with it.

What's it doing?

I've managed to reset it.

But this morning when I wanted to turn it on... I noticed my photos, games and notes were missing - but it still played music.

then when I was using it to teach this morning it just froze. on pause, No response at all.

This is about the third or fourth time it's frozen. Sometimes holding down the appropriate buttons, Menu & Select for 10 sec will fix it. Sometimes plugging it in to the computer will reset it.

But either way if the music is inaccessible for an extended period it leaves me pretty much screwed if I'm at a performance venue expecting to use it.

Yeah, menu + the main button usually makes any of my lockups go away.

My only problem is sometimes I turn it on and it won't get out of pause unless I reset it.
