This is my teacher Najla in her brand new Purple costume. Fabulous costume fabulous evening.

I didn't get photos of all the performers because honestly, I was so into the dancing that I forgot I had my camera in my LAP!

good pics! i used to dance with najwa al qamar. we started practicing with troupe ta'amullat the same day. of course i never actually danced with the troupe. but i got sick... well you've read it.

It is a lovely costume

And Valizan is amazing. My husband came to class with me for a year or two after seeing him in 99 or 2000.
