I casually mentioned to my sister a few weeks ago that I would really like to organize some sort of belly dance class out in the county. I was thinking of advertising and seeing how much interest I could get. That if I could draw someone with more experience to teach it - that would be great or we could follow instructional tapes/DVD's - or I'd just teach it myself if I had to, but more just a sharing of common interest, stay in practice - kind of thing. So my sister's asked me if I will teach a workshop to her Women's Studies group. They've apparently organized a Yoga thing and are looking for other avenues to explore. I hope to get more details from her today...such as whether they are looking for a history lecture or a demonstration or a dance class. We were on the phone at the same time her kids got home from school. - chaos.
