xmas shopping
After the horror that was last year's attempt at suspending gifts at Christmas in which I ended up with everyone in my family pissed off at me...I didn't dare try it this year.
The kids have way too many toys, and clothes! And what the heck are you supposed to get the grown ups? Really people. Stop buying me Xmas gifts. I'd rather pick out my own stuff.
but in the AWESOMENESS that is ME. I have started my shopping. AND I actually have all the kids done.
They all got Flannel sheets.
From the catalogue I ordered pink snowflakes for the littlest girls (age 5 & 2 1/2)& blue horses for the youngest boy - age...7
Went shopping and picked up blue& green stripes for the other boy age 10.
Multi-stripes in blue, green, red, yellow & pink for the one girl age 11
& a green leafy pattern for the last girl age 13.
All chosen to co-ordinate with either their bedrooms or their interests....AND with the approval of their parents.
I have to get my shopping done before my surgery and I don't have time to fuss with stores, toys, or clothing sizes.
Done done done. happy dance
Now I just need to do the adults. I wonder if I could get them all flannel sheets too? If not... I think a couple of bottles of wine/booze should do nicely. I also need a little gift for some bellydance friends.... hmmm... maybe cafepress...
Shopping for J to do also... Now there's the hardest one of all.
