thanks kid
Dec. 30th, 2007 07:43 pmso I was at my parents today for the xmas thing.
it actually went better than it usually does. For one thing most of the kids played in the basement or outside for a good deal of the time.
However- I was entertaining the youngest niece, she's 2.
I was sitting on a stool, with her on my lap, in front of the bathroom sink. We were splashing around with some rubber duckies in the sink.
So combine that with the amount of wine I had today... and I just kind of had to laugh it off oh well - it's over and done.

... and the next thing I know. My lap is warm and wet. Yeah thanks kid. I didn't expect that - although I suppose I should have. She'd just used the potty not half hour earlier... *sigh* oh well -
anyway - I'm off to throw my pants in the wash. Fortunately I was able to borrow a pair from my mother.

I've been teaching myself to crochet. It doesn't go near as fast as my knitting. But then I'm not up to your level of complexity with that either. Basket weave afghans are my specialty. :)
