is there a game or something?

J is watching football - of course because we have cable TV  --- the Canadian channel is showing the FOX  Superbowl with CANADIAN commercials.  F'n lame - that ticks me off.  Why? best part of the game and... they figure they can pre-empt it to double sell their own spots. You're watching GLOBAL.... brrahhahahaha.

Can't say I have ever been any kind of a sports fan  - I blame my dad.  He grew up on an island. with the proverbial one room school house. No sports. You were lucky if there was even another kid close to the same age as you. We weren't encouraged to play sports growing up.  ... come to think of it... my parents only encouraged us in solo pursuits.   Probably why we're so weird.  and clinically depressed.

whatever.  I'm not in the mood to talk about my parents.

I have tracked down one of the websites that  is airing the commercials.  I get to watch the commercials but don't have to watch the game - yeah!

I'm tired and am headed to bed.  Even though it is barely 9:30.

I too "had" to watch the game. They posted that the ads were also on Myspace so BF would flip to a movie during the commercials. We mainly watched the last quarter (which was, oh, an hour?) and the most interesting part of the game. You'd think the eagles (our team) had won because when they said the Giants had won, we could hear all sorts of firecrackers going off.
