I am definitely going to have to order The Tribal Bible.

I keep meaning to do so but...

I'll just have to have it shipped to Canada.

and a sword.  I want a sword for my birthday. - I should email K.

it fits my budget - it ships to Canada and most people are happy with it. 
(because I am not spending 200+ on a sword without trying it in person.)

I got my Tribal Bible last year (when they got re-printed) and it's autographed (very cool!)

I am on the waiting list for that sword. I want another sword (I think I have 10 but i can't dance with a dragon-hilt rapier or a katana). And if she doesn't get them in, I may go with Riz. Some of the other similar swords you either had to flip the guard (I think that looks dorky) or they bent easily.

Most of the other people I dance with have the LOVELY CAS Iberia scimitars. I may get one of those someday. Or, if I win the lottery, contact the guy who made my rapier and have him make me something.

my instructor suggested the Saroyan scimitar but... *omg* sticker shock.

I just checked her Bhuz posting but haven't heard anything. If you read the postings, life got "weird" for her so there's a delay.

The Saroyan is how I knew such a beastie existed. But their site looks "complicated" to order from - limited order schedule. Price is an issue, but not an issue. I think I paid $225 for my rapier about 15 years ago, but I had different bills then.

see on top of whatever... with a price tag like that - I'd probably end up paying customs/taxes/duty on top.

Under $100 they don't care so much, over... - get slammed an additional +20-30%
