Thanks but Saroyan... way out of my price range for swords.
I'm trying to stay under/around $100.
The customs people seem to think anything over $100 should be taxed.
it adds up. -pay for the sword -pay for sheath/scabbard -pay for shipping to Canada -pay whatever the heck Customs decides to charge me for import taxes. Trust me- they've done it before.
I'm not plunking down $250 for a sword I can't try -in person. I'd sooner take my chances on having my mentor buy one for me. At least I'll know she will have tried it out AND I won't have to pay shipping or additional taxes.
