I too have more costumes than someone of my calaber actually needs. But it helps me feel like a dancer. I'm one of those intuitive feeling people who needs to feel and experience stuff. Logically, I should do as well in aerobics class when I'm wearing track pants and my husband's T-shirt as when I'm wearing a $80 cute exercise outfit, but somehow I do put more in when I feel better about myself.
I alway go to class in harem pants, dance tops, and real belts. There are always women who dance better in jeans, T-shirts, and a scarf around their hips.
BTW- I've been out of dancing for a little over four months - so I've just read all your posts. Sorry about all the turmoil.
