Oct. 13th, 2004 08:01 amI've been practicing almost everyday with a tape or just in front of a mirror.
I miss my class. BUT on the other hand I don't have the opportunity to mess up the choreography and feel discouraged either.
I may buy another DVD today although I do have enough to practice with now that I don't get bored.
I love all the lj-groups that I belong to - I love reading about the performances and workshops that other people go to and the costume-y stuff and the newbies asking what to expect from their first class...
Because of one posting I actually went and bought liquid eyeliner to attempt dramatic eye makeup... http://www.middleeasterndance.homestead.com/Eye.html
I haven't ever even attempted liquid eye make-up since I was about 14-15 ... It ended up glopped all over and I put it back in my mother's make up stuff. what the heck ... I'd practice today but... places to go, people to see. ...
