I may have mentioned that I started a yoga class at the end of May. There were four of us that first week. Just a small little place right here in my tiny town. Saturday mornings, earlyish 8:30-9:30.
By the second or third week we had dwindled down to two students and the instructor. At the end of our 6 week session both of us, myself and the other student, both said we would be back when the next session started back up. (two week break)
BUT.... Classes started up again and ... its just me. So - I'm having private yoga instruction. Granted if anyone ever shows up I will have to share my instructor but this is pretty cool. Definitely worth the, well it breaks down to $11/ week. Great work out. Especially since I have this one on one, she is able to spot me and we can work on whatever I want. Last week we worked on loosening the left over tension that I had from the presentation stress - and I had tons. This week we worked on back bends and this weird balance pose. But she's able to spot me for the more difficult moves - it's cool. She knows that I'm doing this as a means of cross over training for my dance class - so we are concentrating on that type of thing. Ultimate goal... a Rachel Brice back bend.
I think she is liking it too, because its a good way to warm up for her also, start the day and ... the class that follows mine...is a group of nine 4-5 year olds - ugh.
Anyway - I'm enjoying it. I keep trying to talk DH into trying it, because he's has just about zero flexibility. But... if he did - I'd loose my one on one and we'd have to go back to a really basic beginner, day one, kind of thing.

Had lunch with K last week, I needed to return her videos that I borrowed for the presentation and didn't end up using. oh well.
She was planning on going to the Greek restaurant with the belly dancer that DH and I went to last week... I'm anxious to hear what she thought but she hasn't posted it yet.
She also told me that she is planning a bazaar and hafla for Oct 29th. I wonder if I should think about practicing/performing. eek. A new thing to stress about.
