halloween numbers

Yes I count them. How else would I know how much candy to buy next year?
This year we set up in the garage. Brought out our folding chairs and a folding table. Stored our candy in J's truck (I parked in the side drive alongside the house but out of the driveway) We even brought out our little bitty TV and popped in a DVD movie that we didn't watch.
It worked well. We were better able to deal with the large groups that descend and we had a better view of the costumes. AND the little kids didn't have to trip their way up & down our stairs.
Since it worked so well we are planning to decorate the garage better next year and carve more pumpkins. AND wear costumes. Last night J wore his devil horns and I wore an improvised Indian thing. I had the moccasins and the braids but not much ... it was a little chilly sitting out in the garage. Next year we will be able to put more thought into it.
