radio jinx
Feb. 18th, 2008 01:29 pmI have amazing radio powers - they are exceptionally active when riding in a car, this works whether I am the passenger or the driver.
I can magically exert my awesomeness to any radio at any time so that only the very worst songs will play on the radio while I am in the vehicle.
So - even though J has Satellite radio - I can jinx it so that even in 200 odd stations of radio nothing decent will come on for the length of time that I am in earshot. Not just stuff that I won't like but stuff J won't like either. If I get out of the vehicle apparently my favourite songs will play - just as if they've been waiting for me to leave.
It is for this reason that I became a talk radio fan, and a recorded book fan. Well and once I started bellydancing I began to acquire a large selection of CD's. I have an MP3 player but honestly - it's easier just to play CD's at home or in the car, plus my radio powers seem to extend to the MP3 player so it deletes the good stuff leaving only the so-so stuff or the stuff that I put on there ages ago and thought I replaced with newer and better stuff.
So... sorry XM I am not interested in obtaining a second unit for my car, and definitely not another unit for the house. But you keep trying. Maybe one day I'll actually catch some decent music in the car... or if you start a bellydance channel - then I'll consider it.
