a TWO DOLLAR service fee?
Jul. 17th, 2008 12:20 pmso... I was in the guest room washing the window - looking at the freshly made bed.... and thinking the white cotton blanket looked... idk... old? tired? It looks okay when the comforter is on the bed but my MIL is always complaining about it being too warm so I chucked the comforter folded it up and squashed it into the shelf in the closet.
now I'm thinking... maybe a new cotton blanket for the guest room wouldn't be a terrible idea.
so I dig out my ever useful Sears catalogue. Find a replacement cotton blanket - try to decide on the colour... pick one and call-
a) not available until Tuesday. (in laws arrive Monday)
b) they want to charge me a TWO DOLLAR service fee for placing a catalogue order????
well - that's new. guess I won't be placing too many more orders from Sears - not that I really do anyway but... it is rather convenient at times. Saves me shopping time.
harrump.
well I guess I'll take a quick gander while I'm out shopping - if I find one great - if not - I guess the in laws get the ratty old white one.
