Harrow Performance - recap

- got there & they were running late.  about an hour late. awesome.
-remember when I said the hooks were too tight? - one of them popped just before I went on.  - fortunately I had sewn double hooks in the bra AND it was X back so - risk of actual exposure was minimal.
- One of my dancers forgot her costume PANTS and had to go on in her work dress pants with a veil pinned in place (good thing they were loose pants.)
- the venue... OMG - was two sets of tables with about 12-15 feet up the center of the room.  So... we quickly decided that two of us would face each direction and do the choreographies that way.  Switching directions whenever it worked out.  There was zero room for mingleing through the tables for either the first or the last numbers.
-there was one song on the middle of the disc that skipped horrendously.  It would play a few seconds and then resume, play then stop.  We laughed our way through it though.
- The sword was really wobbly and I had to readjust it a couple times - still didn't drop it but it felt terrible.

-the ladies did a FANTASTIC JOB
-we rolled with the punches and put on a terrific show.
-I *think* I might have video.  not sure yet.  & of course it will be a side view for most of it but ...
-it was a ton of fun.  I think the group really enjoyed having us.
- I *might* have gotten some students out of it.  - I definitely handed out some flyers, although I think they are likely to be temporary students, I heard a lot of talk about back issues  - so those ones never stick with it long term. and a lot of crap about but that's Zumba night from some of the younger ones - may need to think about a different night ..........hmmm......Friday night? Saturday morning/afternoon?  I could maybe make if Monday nights from 8:30-9:30?

Overall the crowd loved us AND we had a blast even with the things that went wrong. and that's what counts!
