meme - a day in the life of you & me

faedreamer "You and I are going to switch lives for 24 hours. What is the minimum I need to know to make it through your day?"
Partner gets up at god awful early... 5:55am? make sure he turns off BOTH his alarm clocks. or he'll be in the shower when the other one goes off and you won't get back to sleep.
Dogs can probably be ignored until 8 am when you should get up & feed them.
Pandora gets medication AFTER she eats and BEFORE she goes outside - otherwise she'll try to hide & not take her pills.
Day is probably yours unless you are teaching dance classes tonight. In which case you have to take the dogs for a walk during the day. Poop bags are in my coat pocket, dog leashes are in the closet - can't miss 'em.
Feed dogs - early supper at 6pm.
If you are teaching (MWF) put the sign on the door, wait for the early class students to show - 6:30. Ipod is probably on the dock in the kitchen, you'll need it downstairs. There's a book with teaching notes down there - use it if you need to otherwise - wing it.
If partner is not home yet - you MAY need to take a 5 minute break to feed the dogs LATE supper and give Pandora her pills at 8 pm. (Second group of students show up at 7:50- so no worries - just do it while they are changing shoes, stretching & warming up )
When they leave - remember to take the sign OFF the door.
It's now probably 9-9:30 pm. You can now have supper - if you are lucky partner cooked - otherwise frozen pizza or leftovers. I hope you had a snack at 4pm...
If you are NOT teaching tonight (Tu/Th) you can skip walking the dogs but you'll still get to walk them around 7pm. You can make dinner after that. fun fun fun. You won't be eating dinner before 8-8:30 anyway - hope you had a snack at 4pm.
8am and 8pm MEDICATION FOR PANDORA IS CRITICAL! DO NOT SKIP IT! however 15 minutes early or late is fine. If she doesn't get her medication she will get really really sick and stop eating and stop caring and probably die! and then I will hunt you down and do something very painful to you.
Partner may come home anytime between 6 and 9 pm. If early he will make his lunch for work tomorrow, then walk the dogs with you - although you still get to handle the poop. He will ask what you are making for supper, (although he is the better cook) check his email for half an hour, have a really long shower then veg in front of the TV rapidly flipping channels or flipping through the DVR to see what's recorded so you are probably better off if it IS a teaching night. There's alcohol in the house - ask the drinker sitting in front of the TV because I really have no idea what's here and what isn't.
9-5 is probably your time to do whatever you want, sew, surf the net, yoga, dance practice, run errands, clean, let the dogs in and out and in and out of the house about a million times, if the post office calls you might get to work so... dress really warm and go. Keys for the truck are on the hook in the kitchen near the garage door. You should be home from that around 1:30-2.
Have fun.
