my husband beats me - with furniture.

and today my computer is back to its normal self.  *weird*

I spent last night when I wasn't b*tching at my computer - icing my face.  and applying arnica gel.
Yes in the midst of all the furniture moving I whacked myself in the cheekbone with the edge of the credenza.  I'm expecting a nice shiner  under my left eye by Wednesday - just in time for my performance Wednesday night.  So that I can look like an idiot.  It was my own fault - I was going backwards up the stairs with my end and slipped on the carpeted edge.

We also took a nice gouge out of the wall in the stairway.  Moving furniture is not all it's cracked up to be.  I told hubby when we sell this house the furniture is part of the package.  I am too old to muscle furniture anymore.  And if we ever move it will be definitely a downsize move.

My office looks - pretty good. I have some stuff to rearrange yet - Take down the shelf, patch the holes & touch up the paint.  Probably buy a new bookshelf - have to run over to Staples & see if they still sell the matching book case to the two I already have.

I'm going to post photos of the work in progress over to Flickr - shortly.

I should be working on my costuming for HS.  But I also have a box of papers to sort and file into the new filing cabinet.

AND I bought a pair of pants on Bhuz this am.  They'd be perfect for the kind of gig I am doing on Wed night, or Open House type nights - they'll get here too late but... I'll have them for next time.

Ack! Be careful. o.O

Maybe you could do a pirate-themed dance and put a patch over the bruised eye?

I agree. Moving furniture is for big, burly men with tattoos and butt cracks. ;)

Ouuuuch. D: Careful! I'm no makeuppy person (I have never used it in my life) but would it be possible to cover it?

It's very faint - so far - so yes makeup should do the trick - I'm hoping.

It hurts more than it shows. I can live with that.
