My very excellent spouse came home with a brand new post office box address today!

I can once again have packages shipped to an American address and not have to pay the outrageous shipping costs to have something shipped to Canada.  And I won't have to put up with the associated delays.

When I am expecting a package I can email or phone them to confirm arrival AND he can pick it up on the way home from his office.

Also he found my ring that I lost in the driveway last night -helping him change the battery in his truck. 

Jubilant? is there a mood icon for jubilant?

Yes - we live here, but he crosses the border every day to go to work. Has been for the last 9.5 yrs.

Border city. Lots of people do it. Let me tell you the fall in the US dollar has meant a heck of pay cut over the last couple years.

Nice on finding the ring and glad to hear you have a US post box. I still think it's weird that the phone company doesn't consider Canada foreign (feel bad for that poor woman in Montreal I kept calling when I'd goof my NY friend's area code) but the post office does.
