a little overwhelmed.
Sometime today - it dawned on me exactly how much I have to accomplish before October 25th.
I couldn't find the fabric I wanted for the skirt so I had to settle on two 'make do' fabrics. The lace didn't take the dye this time - so I will have to re try it? I suppose? Or omit it from the final design. *sigh*
Since I am redesigning the skirt ... I decided to skip ahead and work on the bra - but I need to sit in front of the sewing machine for a bit - and duh? Saturday night? spouse? you know - it is one of the few nights we are both home & can spend the time together.
guess I'll just sleep on it - maybe some miracle of thought will come to me in the night and I will figure out how I want to do the skirt. *groan*
Oh and Pandora is way over medicated. But they want me to keep her at this elevated dose until Monday. She's harrassing us for food, scavenging for it in the yard and super hyper. I'm definitely cutting her back on Monday. Two more days of this and she's going to drive us all and herself crazy.
I'm trying to decide between a circle skirt with a ruffled border
and a tiered skirt made with 4 tiers in 2 different fabrics.
This is the look I wanted for the skirt but... I'm having to go with two different fabrics now. I guess I will pin up a circle skirt and my tiered skirt and see which one I like better and then decide. Tomorrow.
