henna today
I'm off to do henna for a friend today - actually for my friend's pregnant daughter.
I'll be doing a belly henna and then hand pieces for her friends.
I've been playing with some new techniques and this time! I am bringing my own camera & taking my own pictures because I know if I rely on said friend for pictures it will be months before I see them at all - if ever!
I finally found the last one of my three henna books. I could find the first two but couldn't find the third & best. But after I spent some time on the net gathering a few photos to bring with me for ideas I thought...hmmm - I wonder if I filed it in this drawer - & there it was.
I've been trying to get my tree up & decorated - however... some of the lights won't light - so we are stuck with the tree in the middle of the room - unable to find the problem. (and all the boxes of decorations all over the floor waiting to go up on the tree!)
Hubby is done his Xmas shopping more or less - I know he has one or two other things that he wants to pick up. But his family's gifts are all bought & in the mail. I've got nearly all my family finished. We are doing the "Dollar Store Xmas" - Gifts for adults must be purchased at the dollar store - to an absolute maximum of $5/person. (I insisted on this because my dollar store is not exactly a dollar store) & of course I have very few gifts for hubby but... he had almost nothing on his list.
I'll place an Amazon order in a few days for him. Internet shopping has made our lives insanely easy.

hubby - still to do- I have a few small gifts for him but... ugh.
I hate shopping in Dec. Everything smells so terrible - that fake cinnamon whatever - yick.
