I got my computer back.

unfortunately it is FUBR.. now

all my data is gone.
all my settings gone.
the sound doesn't work. at all.

but hey... no more  virus warnings.  Those I could live with.  It won't even allow me to restore my backed up Financial data.

I have an insane headache from trying to make it work.

omg. I may throw it out the window.

Oh, no; that is major sucksville. :\ I hate having computer problems! Sometimes you do just need to start over.

I hope you get it resolved one way or another soon. Meanwhile, just get away from the damn thing. ;)
