FOUND!
At last.
I found my zills.
(of course I borrowed a set from a friend this morning. which is why my own decided to finally turn up this evening)
They were in the kitchen cabinet where I sometimes keep my purse. Actually I NEVER put my purse there - but hubby often put it there because he hates it when I leave my purse on the kitchen counter.
I knew they wouldn't turn up until AFTER I borrowed/bought a set.
