who would have thought sewing would involve so much swearing? *

*apparently it does.  When you put something on... put multiple pins into it and then try to remove the garment while the pins are still in it!

Ahh, man, I know that one! Sometimes it's better to use safety pins for that kind of thing. Or use a mannequin-thingie (can't remember what it's called).

dressmaker dummy?

I have one & I ended up using it for the second go round with the pins.

The first time... don't know what I was thinking... that it would be more accurate on me?

I can't sew when I'm really tired. One day I caught my index finger in the machine's needle. It didn't go all the way through; just woke me up really good. As in, owwwwwwwww, jeezus f()*@#()&$#&$n christ!
