My costume for this past performance was supposed to be lilac & black. BUT - the lilac fabric was complete crap so it got scrapped and I had to start over.
Would I wear lavender - absolutely but don't have one yet. It's in the back of my mind to make one though.
Do I wear dresses - I don't have any at the moment - but I've got fabric intended as dresses - I just ran out of time. (I think the would be perfect for my high school appearances.
I heard Aziza just had a suitcase with two costumes stolen recently. And I was at a workshop a few years back where someone else had their suitcase(with costumes) stolen from their vehicle also. :( Costumes can cost a bundle - another good reason to make your own. Yeah they still cost in terms of time & materials but still $3000. Not in this lifetime.
