We had exactly 27 trick-or-treaters. I kept count. There was this one little girl that was hilarious. She was so friendly. Our exchange went something like this
"Trick or treat! Guess what I am?!" "What are you!?" (She was dressed as a witch, complete with green face paint, a broom, hat, dress/etc, black wig) "I'm the wicked witch of the west!" "Wow! That's so great! You make a great wicked witch of the west!" "Thank you! I love your Doggie! I have a doggie!" (She was talking about GRADY, of all dogs, who had his head by my knee. I was crouched by the door so that he wasn't going anywhere) "Why, thank you!" *Gives her two chocolate bars* "Thank you! Happy Halloween!" "Happy Halloween! Have a great night!"
