a little funny.

so I went to the rehearsal for this performance on Saturday.

it is part of the Children's Christmas Dance Recital (tap/ballet etc.) A friend of mine teaches for this school and asked me to be a part of it. So there are roughly 200 little girls (and some mothers) in this room.

So - I stand around for a bit and they say - okay you can go next....

So I put on my hipscarf wrap my veil over my neck and

all eyes are instantly focused -

My friend comes over and says...

"Wow, you just became the most popular woman in this room."

So did my rehearsal - whatever.

came off the stage and instantly had ... 3-4 little girls wanting to pet my hipscarf - and talk to me.

I'm guessing the gold costume & wings will really make an impact on Saturday.

not that there won't be people there taking video/photos of the performance but I'm not bringing any guests - so I won't have access to the video/photos.

I will try to rehearse in costume today & might video that.

Yes they were nice about it. but Saturday is going to be a bit tricky. Either the Gold costume or the wings always seem to be act like little girl magnets. The combination might put them into a frenzy.
