Calling my Facebook Experts

dancingleafI wanted to invite the people listed as "FANS" on that idiotic Facebook FAN page to my event (movie night)
but... every time I try to do that it gives me my personal friends list & not the Fans list.
If I try to do it through the Fans page ... it tells me to update the fans?
I don't get it. What am I supposed to do here in order to invite the people that presumably want to be updated for my events?
Why don't I get any updates for this "fan" page? Surely I have all the settings set correctly. I think I do anyway. What is the PROBLEM here?!?
P.S. why does that stupid little bouncy confused mood icon have a frick'n smile on his idiotic face? I'm not smiling here little man. Do I have to smack that smile off your face?
