too bad I use it to notify students of upcoming classes and events.
But I'd still prefer to sever it permanently from my life.

Unfortunately - I have this friend that has no working email - believe it or not, and Facebook is the only way I can leave messages for her. (or I can phone her but she's even less reliable by phone)

Date: 2010-10-21 06:35 pm (UTC)I think people like FB because it's convenient, but it also has serious privacy problems. When something new comes along, just watch. They'll dump FB and move on to the New and Shiny, like sheep, baaaaaaa.
