I turned down work at the post office today for dance classes - I was unable to cancel.

guess who showed up.

NO ONE.

I did.

They were women I met at the performance on Thursday night. and they were so excited to come to a class. I wrote the time & date on my flyer & my address.

I didn't take their numbers because - first timers sometimes show & sometimes don't. And seriously... I don't need a book full of numbers of people that aren't going to show up.

Then of course the post office asked me Friday to work Tuesday and I had to say no because I couldn't find anyone to cover my dance class! I couldn't just NOT be here. That would be unprofessional!

Should have just stuck a sign on the door & said emergency I suppose.

Learned a valuable lesson there.
And the student who has a class in this time slot - didn't show either!
