so I went to the fabric store with the intention of buying more fabric to make a second cover for the dogs' bed. -  just like the stuff I bought last week.

Only to get it home and find out it is NOT the same shade of blue... but a more greenish blue.  The stuff I bought last week is a more... wedgewood blue.

So...

yeah  and I bought 5 meters of it.  Enough to cover both dog beds and make a few throw pillows.  Guess I'll try dying it to a more acceptable shade.  If not I guess I'll make covers for the dog beds but definitely NOT using it for anything else. ugh.

I'm not sure how that happened exactly.  I matched it with a scrap and everything.... all I can think of is that there was a remnant rapped around the bolt with a different colour underneath... I wasn't watching because I was trying to measure my arm span to figure out how much chiffon I needed for this sleeve experiment I want to try copying from the BDSS show we saw a few weeks ago.

oddly enough i have a package of blue dye on hand so ... I could do that oh... tomorrow if I wasn't at the post office... or Thursday if J was at work... maybe I'll put off dying fabric until Monday and just finish off some of the other projects on hand....
