fail

I went shopping in the States with J today.

He did pretty well.

4 new pairs of pants - for work.
4 new shirts - for work.

I went specifically for bra shopping.
All my bras are a)shot b)old c) not fitting properly d)ugly and not very sexy e) all of the above.

yeah
so I hit Hanes, Fredericks, Victoria Secret -with lines out the door!- I skipped it.  and some other places.
someone had recommended Target as being good for selection and price so I actually tried on 10 bras there - bought ONE.

So I think I'm going to take my Christmas money from my mom and blow it at one of the local lingerie stores.  I get in the habit of saying ... how much? for  ONE bra?  this time I'm just going to go and however far the money goes is how many new bras I can have.

Well that was the plan... until I got the SALE email from BellyDanceStore and now I'm thinking.... hmmmm.  I could get a costume instead....

I'll need pics of both to provide proper counsel.

Macy's will help with bra fitting but I'm not so sure about their selection.

Those costumes look nice. I have a hard time buying stuff like that online, and the cabaret outfits are a bitch to alter!

I do all right with the fitting. I'm either a 38B or a 36C depending on the style. Even then you know that some fit better than others. I really don't like these VaVOOM styles that will jump you up 2 cup sizes but neither do I want a no lift, no nonsense utilitarian. And frankly...if I'm going to drop $20-25 or more on a bra... I can do that at one of the local stores. At least then I'll be more likely to go back for more.
