Insane Journal

Given that this has been another day of inability to connect to LiveJournal I am currently checking out other journalling options.

Have one you like?

Tell me about it.

Otherwise - if you can't find me here -

look for me on Insane Journal - same name - dancingleaf.

There's Dreamwidth, which is a good, active LJ clone that is growing, and I have invite codes.

sure. I'll try it. Sounds great.

I'm just sad to be losing my years of entries here but this inability to access has got to stop.

Lemme know if that doesn't work, I have more bouncing around in my inbox, I don't know which are still good.

I'm pretty sure you can move all your old LJ entries to DW, I know a lot of my friends did.

thank you - it did work.

I'll have to check it out more thoroughly in the next little while.

Are you on there?

Yes, I am - I post there, and (because I have a paid account) it auto-crossposts to here and Insanejournal.

You will never ever ever ever guess my super-secret username those two places! It's so super-secret it's totally not the same as here... and on Twitter... ;)

LJ has been sucking lately. I don't know if I can bring myself to open yet ANOTHER journal thingie right now, though. I hardly use the one(s) I have! Guess I'm no longer addicted to it, or it's run its course. I think these sites have a shelf of a few years and then most people get bored and realize they have a Life outside the computer. *L*
