things that will wreck your mood
thunderstorms that keep you awake all night with a panicked dog (two valium had little effect on her last night)
being pissed off at an unreliable 'friend' - who as well as not showing up when she she says she will - borrows things without regard for when they might get returned. Will institute NEW POLICY on this subject.
getting pissed about the costume not fitting all over again.
oh and ... it's nearly 2:30 and we can finally leave to do the errands for the day.
J went out to get a haircut & play squash this morning. then he got home late & the DOG insisted on her walk and NOW he's in the shower.)
but we're going out bed shopping so we really do have to go together...
I think.... cheesecake could improve the situation - immensely.

I need the student performers & if I want them to be in (semi)matching costumes - often times I have to supply the items they are lacking.
It's been two weeks now since the performance and I just got items back from one student on Friday and the other... no items returned and no idea when I will get them back. ... So it's for her that I'm writing up the new policy. She'll know I'm serious about getting my stuff back & she'll get offended & stop borrowing from me or she'll buy her own or she'll stop performing with us.
-this last one, stop performing with us... - at this point would be my preference. She takes all kinds of liberties I wouldn't allow my own students - late to rehearsal, not bothering to show up for rehearsal etc. all because she is/was my best friend & not really my student. She has dance background, in a different method - so she picks it up quickly but she expects me to take time out of MY day to coach her enough to pick it up. I'm not going to tolerate it any more.
