dancingleafNew bed - slept ---------awesome. also the bed is very comfortable for lazing and reading. Have not had the opportunity to check out other functions of bed - will update as situation warrants.

* I bought this 'record' box. You know, it stored the old size LP's. Nice Sturdy Box with a handle. Just right for throwing about 10-15 hipscarves & a bottle of water and my business card case and my wallet. AND when closed the top of the box would very nicely hold my boom box at a decent height.
Well the top of the box had some damage - so I got the idea to stick old travel stickers on it. But couldn't find any - went all over the place looking for some, scrapbooking sections etc. no luck - what if I just cut some out of say, children's books or travel books. Still no luck. Finally I got the bright idea to walk into a travel bureau (they still have those?) and when she asked me what I was looking for I said EGYPT. I would like to go to Egypt. So she gave me three different books, expensive books. One of them even had a DVD - And I spent the night cutting out pictures of exotic destinations. Egypt, Greece, Morroco, Paris, Rome, Pisa. Lovely pictures. I got out the modge podge I started affixing them to my case. I'll probably finish today and have a very nice little travel box for gigs.
That's all - I think I'm going to go enjoy my new bed a little longer. Zzzzzzz.
I will eventually have to figure out what to do with the piece of melamine that we've been using (between the boxspring & mattress of the old one) to give the old bed some much needed support. Cut it down to a manageable size and put some legs on it when we need another table out doors - I suppose..........
