dancingleafI submitted an application to adopt a dog.
She's a Great Pyrenees. She's 8 yrs old. so - an old girl. She comes from a household where there were 5, yes FIVE dogs. The couple is divorcing and they are each taking two. Because Daisy Mae is the biggest & oldest - neither one wants her. FOR SHAME!
And on top of that - they shaved her DOWN TO THE SKIN! EVEN HER EARS and HEAD!
So.... She currently lives in Indiana. About 4 hours away.
I'm not sure if this is a wise move because --- I don't know if Mason will like her or not. I'm hoping that because she comes from a household with other/smaller dogs that she will be tolerant of a new puppy when we get one. I know Mason most definitely would NOT tolerate a puppy.
I just need a sweetheart to love so bad. I love Mason but he doesn't want to spend time with me. He just wants to lay outside & sleep.
So - clearly Daisy Mae needs me. She needs someone. Someone who will love her and tell her she's a sweet old gal and deserves better. AND someone who will keep her out of the SUN until her hair grows back!
