I have applied for two puppies today. and have a back up available as well.
9 week old Male - Pyr mix named Thor, is in ohio (5 hrs away) and I think the rescue organization is insane. the puppy is cute but the people are nuts. I may have to withdraw my application if they amputate his dewclaws as planned. Has unusual markings - may be mixed with Border collie, black markings on his face.
Marcellus is a 12 week old male Pyr, - he is currently in Connecticut - because he is slated to be one of the puppy bowl puppies! (He is 11 hrs away) and the rescue organization are nice normal people. I have a phone interview with them tomorrow. He's absolutely beautiful.
and the rescue organization that gave us Daisy Mae has a 8-9 mos old male Pyr named Baron that the organizer would be thrilled to place with us. (also 5 hrs away) He looks a lot like Pandora and has the same mischievous look in his eyes.
So - I should probably have a puppy by the end of the month.
it's bittersweet - it reminds me what Pandora was like as a puppy - and I miss her more but - on the other hand it would be nice to have a little bundle of fluff running around and getting in to trouble around here.
