bored.

no not feeling better - mostly I'm not getting a whole lot of sleep which is why I'm bored. More hours awake=less to occupy me during all these hours. I could take anti-nausea drugs to knock me out but if I'm not feeling nauseous it seems silly to take them. Although the sleep would be welcome. So is that the improvement? I'm not nauseous? Pain is still evident - some times it is pretty extreme - this is usually caused by gas pain or intestinal rumbling of some sort. Still eating the prunes and taking the stool softners. TMI.

J is taking me for a car ride tonight! yeah! Right after he finishes walking the dogs. poor guy. He's being so good about looking after everything.

I have called 4 different people about the siding and NO ONE has gotten back to me. F*CK - What the heck is wrong with these people - it's not a big job but I'm willing to PAY for it - sheesh. It will take ... what about 10 minutes- if that.

I've known people who have had hysterectomies, but only known them in passing. So they disappeared from work for 7 weeks and then reappeared as good as new. Reading your journal has really given me a new insight into the whole process.

Has the swelling gone down since that picture you posted?

yes and no.

The swelling along my obliques and the bellybutton itself -yes, I think.
The swelling just above my incision -not at all - possibly it is worse.

I'll be posting a new photo Wednesday.
