so my classes start tomorrow.

I have 8 or so in my beginner class and 3 in my beyond beginner.  I'm thinking that's about right - I want to see what happens since we are in the smaller room now. I did advertise - but maybe not as much as I could have. Still, I'll cover my costs plus a little.  I'm excited because it's always fun to share something that you are passionate about.

I don't mind that there are so few advanced students because I always have more fun with them - and it will be nice to have the extra space, but I am surprised that there aren't more.

I did practice a bit the other day - with the Ariellah DVD.  But for some reason my shoulders and arms were really sore.  To the extent that I couldn't sustain my snake arms.  Not sure why - unless it was because I had been working on the Sharon Kihara shoulder diamonds and accented snake arms the week before - but it had been 4-5 days in between so... I would have thought that they would have been recovered by then.

I spent almost all morning working on my bland boring website. I don't really want one - but I guess I have to have one.

And I've been invited to speak at the library's book club meeting (but that's in April)  so I had to write up a proposal - see what they want me to talk about exactly.

I should go and start lining up my stuff for the classes tomorrow night.  and dance.  Why does dance get bumped to the bottom of the to do list.  I should make that a higher priority.

Good luck with your classes.

I got the Ariella DVD for Christmas but haven't opened it yet. How is it? How's the Yoga part (my BF wants to do it with me)

Do you do a lot of yoga? meh- it's okay. She assumes a basic familiarity with yoga already using terms and such - she doesn't give as much instruction on placement etc as she really should.

I usually do the short portion of the yoga warm-up. it's sufficient for warm up. The long portion is okay - there's one hip opener stretch that I like & should incorporate into my regular yoga practice. But other than that- I've got other yoga DVD's that I like better.

If you and your BF already do yoga - you might find it a bit bland, if you don't already do yoga you might feel a bit lost.

I really really like her drills section though.
