Date: 2008-03-15 01:37 am (UTC)I walk those dogs every day. RAIN, Snow, freezing cold, scorching heat.
We just put on the snow pants & parkas, bundle up in our hats & mitts & scarves etc. and go.
See someone told me ... exercise was good for my puppy. It would tire her out and she would behave and sleep more. 7 years later I have a dog with excellent stamina that expects a minimum 40 min to 2hour walk every d@mn day. She doesn't care what the weather is doing. And if she doesn't get her walk ... well... that just doesn't happen. She will hunt you down and stare at the front door until it happens. She will seriously follow you around the house & ask you ..."Aren't you ready yet (you idiot) it's time for MY walk." You can see it on her face.
