upon reflection I have decided to do one of each. I was really disappointed when I got the whole SET of Rania's and hated them.

So I will order the Suhalia Buns DVD and one of the Jillana's. just which one???? hhmmmm.

If I like it/them I can order more and if not... I'm only out one DVD.

I'm tempted to email my instructor for her recommendations.

My big debate at the moment is whether 2 half circles will be enough. Additional half circles will add more flare to the skirt. I think I will buy what I need but make sure that additional fabric is available on the roll if I decide to go back in a couple days and add more fullness to the skirt.

I think I will buy an extra metre or so and then I will have enough for a matching vest.

Why do I need this costuming stuff if I am too chicken to actually perform in front of "real belly dancers"???

I too have more costumes than someone of my calaber actually needs. But it helps me feel like a dancer. I'm one of those intuitive feeling people who needs to feel and experience stuff. Logically, I should do as well in aerobics class when I'm wearing track pants and my husband's T-shirt as when I'm wearing a $80 cute exercise outfit, but somehow I do put more in when I feel better about myself.

I alway go to class in harem pants, dance tops, and real belts. There are always women who dance better in jeans, T-shirts, and a scarf around their hips.

BTW- I've been out of dancing for a little over four months - so I've just read all your posts. Sorry about all the turmoil.
