Jun. 2nd, 2008 03:02 pmI strongly recommend
Ruben van Rompaey's Eastern Expressions.
GET THIS ONE!
also - Nourhan Sharif's Advanced Rhythms for Advanced Students - for educational purposes. Some of the tracks are music but others are his voice counting the beats over drums initially - then goes to just the drum... the rhythm speeds up etc. but... useful if you wanted to learn new rhythms especially for zilling I suppose.
I liked many of the tracks on Light Rain Dark Fire
I should check out their other stuff.
DH also likes trance/electronica so I thought I'd check out Naked Rhythm - Frequency. Hate - Babylon - too Rap for me... but the rest is decent.
so... what have you downloaded recently and did you like it?
p.s. Kami Liddle had the new Maduro - Seige with her.... in retrospect I kinda wish I'd bought that too! OOOOHHH Awesome. Now available on eMusic! yeah... ... hey and all the songs are close to 3-4minutes in length - perfect for when you need music for a short solo....*hint hint.
