Local politics/Canadian Election.

I dislike my MP for my own reasons and want him out of office bad enough to just vote for anyone or their dog to get him out.

I read this today...

Essex Conservative M.P. Jeff Watson is firing back at criticism of his performance by the C.A.W.* The union claims he has remained silent on most issues and has done little to represent his constituents. The union also blames the Harper government for the loss of thousands of manufacturing jobs. Watson calls the allegations lies and misinformation and accuses the union of trying to take credit for the re-opening of the Essex Engine Plant.** Watson says the Harper government is headed for re-election and not returning him to Ottawa would leave Essex without a voice in government.


Seriously, Is that the best you can do?

** Gee, there's no relation between the gov't grant being announced and then calling the election two DAYS later.

I have an important to me, upcoming performance - about a month away.  I've picked my song and have been playing with it - every time I hear it I love it even more - so I'm pleased - (I usually start to hate a song 3/4 of the way through the creative process) The song is ... a little on the dark side, with a slightly vaudeville sound to it - I'm aiming at a sort of tribal fusion/slightly gothic, bellydancer does Moulin Rouge look I suppose.

But I'm having trouble with planning the costuming.  Obviously I only have time to create ONE costume.

I'd welcome your input & assistance because I'm stuck and I need to make a decision!  Your ideas are greatly appreciated.

Maybe I'll head out to another fabric store and look at their red lace fabric.  I just wanted to have my colours set  before I buy more fabric.
